What I believe to be the obstacles preventing any of us common people being free |
Individual sovereignty, To me it is the simple concept of owning and being in charge of yourself. Unfortunately, this is not inherently so, as stated in the constitution and any other logically minded document, so we have to go about the process of re-possessing our sovereignty. For those that aim to enslave us this will be a grave insult and they will retaliate with great force. Due to this ominous and potent threat most of us quietly remain slaves. It deeply saddens me that I do not have the courage to free myself, to return myself to the natural state of freedom that, as a human being, was my birth right. In my lifetime I have been relieved of hundreds of thousands of dollars that I personally worked very hard for. As an indentured servant I have been allocated a small share to tender as I please, and like every one else I am informed to be content with what the masters have left me with. As a ward of the state I have no viable alternative. If the master decrees I shall become a soldier and kill other soldiers, I must. If the master decrees I must give him the fruits of all my labors, I must. If the master decrees I must be subject to search and seizure, carry ID at all times and be prepared to defend my presence anywhere at any time, I must. I sustain no allusion that I am a free man. Unless you are a charter member of the elite ruling class, you should not either. Until and unless we as slaves can stand up and say we will no longer tolerate this subjugation, we will be slaves. They will not free us if we ask politely, we will not take them over by force, they are far too armed. The only way to free ourselves is through massive refusal to participate in our own subordination as a means to their ascension into total domination. |
