The two sides of men.

Rated: 13+ | Poetry | Emotional | #1768126
Will you suffer the same fate as this man when lust over takes you?
Midnight reflects the somber sorrow of dying memories,
The moonlight shines on your face, deep pools of jade beckon,
As a cloud rolls by, the discerning image fades away but isn't forgotten.
Regret, the one feeling he can't seem to shake away.
Dreams of you continuing to impale his blackened heart, now devoid of all emotion.
It's not possible to let go when he's been released,
Set aside like a forsaken animal, lonely, without an owner.
Even the angels would weep at such a calamity.
The prince of a forgotten kingdom, which one could call a void mind,
Now laying to rest, still brooding over his aching shadow of despair.

Embodiment of a tomb, one sided feelings that never please.
Refusal to be forgotten, pointless attempts at redemption,
Scattered thoughts of depression, missing the warmth of your soothing touch.
He realizes he really is the loser.
