THE HILLS THAT I CALL HOME

The hills that I call Home are the Green Mountains of Vermont

Where the wind plays it's own kind of country you could want.

It plays a tune just for you when your walking all alone

Gives that feeling loves there too, the way the wind is blown.

It doesn't have a special title, so you can name it what you will,

As the breeze comes now in April, trees play a tune upon the hill.

The hills that I call home,
Green mountains of Vermont,
Where the wind plays its own
Kind of country you could want.

The tune of green grass coming soon is the tune playing today

As well as a country singer could croon or Sinatra on Broadway.

Home is where the heart is, or at least thats what I've been told;

Mountain music is just this, in summer heat or winter cold.

The hills that I call home,
Green mountains of Vermont,
Where the wind plays its own
Kind of country you could want.
