Earth Day

Earth Day


Every day is an earth day.
I’m inseparable from mother Earth.
What can happen to her way?
I celebrate her days with mirth.

Let her greenery flourish.
Let streams, rivers and seas
flow exuberant and nourish
so we have health and peace.

Let a thousand plants take root
in place of each single felled tree.
Let not those greedy hands loot
Nature, a great gift to you and me.

The fall of earth is my fall.
For, my safety is in her welfare.
If nature on earth can walk tall,
wouldn’t it end our ills and despair?
