I Love You

I've spent so many days thinking about you
The sands of time keep on pouring through
And yet I never have said the words I wanted 
Never willing to risk sacrificing myself aloud

You must already know all about them
The words conveyed through my eyes
Every time they gaze upon you
They reveal the stars in my skies

And now I find I must shout them aloud
A quiet whisper will never do
For you see I don't care who hears me
When I utter the words "I Love You"

I love you 
Yes it's true
I love you
Yes I do   

I don't want to die without you knowing
They cannot be buried along with me
So these words bear repeating
Before my eyes close and you cannot see

I love you
Yes it's true

Yes I do
