Texas Rain
A brief tale of how I met my future husband

Before reading, please keep in mind this is intended to be brief.  I had the idea of writing out how Josh and I met in a short enough way so as to include it in a wedding favor.  I understand there aren't many details, but there is only so much one can fit in a short space.

July 2, 2010 - It was such a normal day in some ways, with the exception of meeting a famous rock star before lunch, and the strange, laid-back mood I was in.  Even for a Friday, I felt extremely casual.  That feeling had me wandering over to Walgreens during my lunch break to pick up bottled water, which I'd forgotten to do the night before.  I remembered finding locally bottled rain water at that store once before, so I picked up two large bottles, as well as some Diet Dr. Pepper.  Beverages cradled in my arms, I turned to make my way to the front.  Almost immediately, I was facing the torso of a rather tall, slender man.
"Whoa!" he exclaimed, followed by "You must be thirsty!"
The conversation that came after that ended with Josh finding me in the parking lot to ask me out.  Who could have known what a wonderful love would have come from that day?

Take two!  Thank you to frontierman and Deodara for your help!  Suggestions are still quite welcomed!

July 2, 2010 - I woke up with a non-chelant attitude.  Not a bad mood, but nothing much could phase me, it seemed.  I was extremely laid back, even for a Friday.  The only trouble I seemed to have was forgetting to buy bottled water the night before, so I wandered over to Walgreens on my lunch break.  I had bought this locally bottled rain water there once before and enjoyed it, so I picked up two large bottles that day.  I threw in a rather large bottle of Dr. Pepper for good measure, and turned to make my way up front.  One step later, I looked up from my toes to see the torso of a tall, slender man, not two inches from my face!
"WHOA!" he exclaimed, followed by "You must be thirsty!"
I laughed, looking up at his face and a set of lovely blue eyes, and explained myself... a squat little thing like me carrying all those bottles must have looked kind of funny.  We continued talking in the checkout line until my items were paid.  Slowly, I made my way outside, giving him time to pay and wondering if he'd follow me out to the parking lot.
Sure enough, he did, and there at my truck, he asked me out.  Who on earth would have thought such a wonderful love would have come from forgetting buying water?
