 Swimming with the Ducks Warm Florida night Finishing a hot hectic day I thought I might Go wash the stress away The water was delightful Not alone in the dark Three little ducks not frightful Their playing did start I slip in on the other side I smile watching the birds Seeing the feathers fly Then I heard his words “The boys are up and acting out” So I grabbed my shoes I went my route Playing with ducks cures the blues
