Words and language--
they are a code that we continually learn, from learning how to read in our youth to trials and errors in communication with other people until our processors no longer function. But this code is so complex, easily misinterpreted and often misused. Some cleverly manipulate the code to their own suitable purposes, with hidden meanings, while others fall short in the decoding process. As writers, we play around with words, encrypting and deciphering until, like a geneticist mapping out the human genome, the code is just right. But even those who are fluent in the code, such as myself, can have trouble creating the perfect cipher like how I feel about you.
