My Bio Hello fellow classmates. I am a fifty-nine-year old woman and a calm,(3a) compassionate individual in most situations. My red hair, however,(4a) means I am often misjudged. Many people think that it is a sure sign of an arrogant,(3a) short-tempered person. The natural red hair that my beloved grandfather prayed for is such a defining part of who I am.(4c) Five-foot-two, eyes of blue,(?) and at least a million freckles formed by a childhood in the hot summer(3b) sun of Mississippi describe my appearance well. I have three wonderful,(3a) grown children and one beautiful,(3a) precious granddaughter. They are my heart,(1) but so is my extended family compiled of six grown individuals, ten grandchildren and two dogs. My soul, on the other hand,(4a) belongs solely to God whom I desire to please and bring glory to through my writing. Because God has richly blessed me with a life filled with varied,(3a) unusual jobs,(2) I find I have much to write about. Throughout the years,(?) I have done everything from farming,(?) to working at McDonald's,(?) to extraditing prisoners nationwide. Having several riveting subjects to write about serves little purpose if one has neither the skill nor ability to do so effectively. I am taking this class so that(1) I can rectify my faulty,(3a) poor use of the comma. The New Horizon's instructor Winnie(4b) will have a difficult, (?)necessary,(?) and entertaining job cut out for her with me this term.
