Some came from far and wide to loom
they walked the sunlight from the moon
we stood so close we had no room
we saw inside each others womb
as we all shared expected gloom
all felt the fear of coming doom
tales heard from near and far away
of guardians coming not to sway
in glorious armor paving the way
riding into the night that none may stray
all want to hear just what he'll say
if he can heal the blind today
some came to stay
some came to pray
some came to walk the blameless way
some hoped that it was not to late
come on raise your hands up high
raise them till you reach up to the sky
come on raise your hands up high
raise them till you lose all of your pain
take a walk onto the fields and lay down
I say lay down
lay down
lay down
lay down and let your spirit drain

Some came from far and wide to loom
they felt the end had come to soon
we stood so close we had no room
we saw inside the spirit swoon
as we all shared expected gloom
all felt and heard resounding boom
he came down from up high to slay
leading by the light in waves
riding like a thief into the night in rays
tales heard from near and far away
all want to hear just what he'll say
if he can cure the souls lost and frayed
some came to stay
some came to pray
some came to walk the blameless way
some hoped that it was not to late
come on raise your hands up high
raise them till you reach the sky
take a walk onto the fields and lay down
I say lay down
lay down
lay down
lay down and let your spirit drain
for I will raise you up with life regained
