A truth
A poem, my usual rhyming couplets, on history.

Many truths it took for us to build this world so bright
Many truths were lost throughout that long, infernal fight

The course of civilization's run is an ever rocky one
A constant reaching out toward an ever distant sun

All we can do is watch its course, and maybe just believe
That there might be a plan that we can never quite conceive
