Sunrise Bio

Hi y'all! I'm Sister of Mercy, but everyone calls me Sister. I'm a thirty-five year old Southern Belle from a small town in Mississippi. My favorite reading and writing genres are dark fantasy and horror, and I enjoy reading authors like Stephen King, VC Andrews, Ray Bradburry, Bentley Little, and HP Lovecraft. I'm currently working on a novel called When the Sun Sets on Deacon, Mississippi and would love to see it published one day.

I would have to say that my writing strength is my wild imagination, and my weakness are choppy sentences and the dreaded show versus tell even though I have applied everything I have read in books, articles, and reviews that I have received. I still keep being told that I'm not showing, but I'm stubborn and won't stop trying to conquer this problem. In a nut shell, my weaknesses are why I signed up for this class. I want to "nip them in the bud" as Barney Fife would say.
