a slant of board a breadth of pine where once the partners parted waltz to walls a marble rolled before the game we started weave and want a step and back two and forward now to one places warmed to our embrace now shine beneath the sun when comes the morning with her brush each spirit to arouse remembers this the dance we loved (I hear the music now) where once were walls a favored song gets clearer every day strains to boards of slanted pine where once we swirled and swayed
