Fluffy clouds attempt to hide the sun,
Ivory blooms open, one by one, Nightingales nest in a neighbor’s oak tree, All of my sweaters are stored in mothballs Longer days give me more time to play, Less time to sleep my life away: Yahoo! Finally Spring! Sweet warm breezes whisper through pine trees, Pink and red roses release their perfume, Robins are sitting on egg-filled nests, In the backyard, weeds are starting to grow, Newly installed screens keep out the flies: Give thanks to the Lord, it’s Finally Spring!
