O you are so right, I shouldn’t complain
No, you aren’t cruel; you are humane

And if for my love you do not care

Kuin daad e gham hameen nay talab ki, bura kya
Hum say jahaan maen kushta e gham aur kya na thay

Ger fikr e zakhm ki toe khatawaar haen keh hum
Kuin mehv e mudh e khoobi e taegh e ada na thay

Her chaarager ko chaaragari say guraiz tha
Warna hamaen jo dukh thay, bohat laadawa na thay

Lab per hay talkhi e mai e ayyaam werna FAIZ
Hum talkhi e kalaam pay maail zara na thay
