In Lifetimes Past In lifetimes past I remember that talking was less important than it is today. Silently, in the forest, I watched for any sign of movement. Listened to the sounds of birds, especially the ravens (I knew their language). Listened to the quiet (when birds were still), then I knew that something was about to happen.
