The Devil only reveals itself to a soul that is already doomed.
This is a story about the Beast’s first mistake. The Devil offers you a deal that your life will be long, full of reward and lust. All it wants in return; is your soul, which the Beast promises to cherish for eternity. Why would the Devil choose pain and agony over kindness and virtue? Maybe the Great Deceiver has been deceiving itself. ITS ABOUT TIME (116,023 words). Within these words lies the answer to evolution vs. creation. I guarantee satisfaction; no matter which side holds your faith. Events bring Jim, the minister from the small town in the swamp covered Parish of Misral, to confront the Beast who calls itself I ONLY. In an effort to break Jim’s faith, I ONLY says that God is nothing more than a dream that cannot come true. To prove it’s point I ONLY tells Jim three stories that can make pure evil cringe in the corner. In the first story, I ONLY reveals to Jim the worst aspects of human nature. Aldom sends his two sons to kill Vlad III, who lives up to his name “The Impaler”. In the second story, I ONLY blurs the line between man and animals. Young Mikhail wants only to be a survivor; however his dream never comes true. In the third story, I ONLY remembers the best of times, when it feasted in the Ukraine during the Harvest Of Sorrow. I ONLY points out that by just rearranging a few words in the mind of one who is pure; can drive them to commit the ultimate horror. What I ONLY thinks is nothing more than a human dream enters the debate. The Creator takes the discussions all the way back to existence’s first breath. Under the threat of its own existence I ONLY ask why he was not shown the way back into The Creator's good grace. I ONLY, the Great Manipulator, is confident in its ability to deceive and suggests that Jim be the one to judge its fate. The Creator agrees. In this trial of life, Jim asks I ONLY how it could not understand. I ONLY were you not there with Abraham and his favorite son. Did you not walk with Moses to the Promise Land; how could you not see. I ONLY defends its actions by answering Jim’s questions with its own interpretations of these events. In this trail of life, the facts are there for all to see. The evidence is in. I left the farm at fourteen to travel around the country working the racetrack and carnival circuit. At age nineteen I was one of the last drafted for a war no one understood, yet I am very proud of my service. I have worked many jobs. I started out climbing aboard horse’s back, that still had their wild eyes. Then I was a jockey agent, soldier, sailor, thoroughbred horse trainer, salesman, husband and father. The diplomas on my wall are all from the school of very hard knocks.
