Sing me a song so sweet a sound
the melody in my mind as a child hearing it by the choir, chanting voices hymns upon high words from above our God his mercy for children, weeping in the orphanage today with our brooms sweeping a new day to be saved. The promise of being adopted with a room of our own, pajamas bright pink in a tidy bed a pillow puffed like a tiny cloud sleeping in heaven, an angel singing a welcome your new family God in his mercy come down as Christ, lonely he died to rise again. Loud the bells are ringing in time forever to live anew, praying for the good news, laws banning abuse of children.
