Cruise Assembly
I want on the shifting sea, where I can actually feel the groundlessness, the spinning of the earth, the impermanence beneath my ever-shifting thumb, locked in the insane grip that makes me human, wrapped instinctively around the tube of my pen, dancing on the wafer of mono-reprocessed tree, holding in the ink an assembly, squiggles and footprints known as letters, combining into words in a melodic meaning called "My Poem." I want on the shifting sea-- on the shifting sea, while the shift's in me.
