EDENLAND!

Adam, deeply have I sinned!

From first taste of fruit forbidden,
A fear of doom has filled me, and
No words can sooth this aching
To make our lives once again
As simple as they had been.
But innocence is lost to us,
As is Edenland, and
All of this because of me.

With deep deceiving spoke serpent sweetly,
Until I gave heed and GOD betrayed.
Now Death is loosed upon all things, and
We must leave the only home we’ve ever known.
I will live until the day I die, knowing it was
Lost to us through act of mine, and that in
Seeking to become as GOD,
I broke all the world,

And lost us Edenland - forever!
