73  O LET’S NOW PRAY; O LET’S NOW PRAY

We who worship the beautiful girls
And we who adore their golden curls
And we with dolls who love to play
O let’s now pray; O let’s now pray

And we who are so odd and flawed
Let’s now kneel and pray to God
That may He relieve our pain and sorrow
And may He grant us a better tomorrow

And may our Lord in the dark of night
Show to our tortured hearts the light
And us, the sinners, who’ve gone astray
May He now guide and show the way

And we who’re so very frail and weak
May He grant us the strength to seek
Goodness, and virtue, and decency
Truth, and justice, and equity

And may be the pain that we have will cease
And may be, we’ll have a little bit of peace

Aaiay haath uthhaa'aen hum bhee
Hum jinhaen rasm e dua yaad naheen
Hum jinhaen soaz e mhabbat kay siwa
Koie but, koie khuda yaad naheen

Aaiay arz guzaaraen keh nigaar e hasti
Zehr e imroaz maen sheereeni e farda bhar day
Wo jinhaen taab e garaanbaari e ayyam naheen
Un ki palkoun pay shab o roaz ko halka ker day

Jin ki aankhoun ko rukh e subhay ka yaara bhee naheen
Un ki raatoun maen koie shamay munawwar ker day
Jin kay qadmoun ko kisi reh ka sahaara bhee naheen
Un ki nazroun pay koie raah ajaager ker day

Jin ka deen pairawi e kazb o riya hay, un ko
Himmat e kufr milay. juraat tehqeeq milay

Harf e haq dil maen khatakta hay jo kaantay ki terheh
Aaj izhaar keraen aur khalish mit jaay
