In our country, the Philippines, we cook rice in so many ways. We are corn and rice eating
people. We usually eat our meals with rice that includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, myself
in particular.

Boiled rice is always wanted when we eat meat, fish and vegetables. We also love the porridge and we add chocolate, milk and sugar,  we call that Champorado. I love putting
bananas or any fresh fruits in my Champorado like the sweet ripe mango and others.
There are rice cakes and so many sweets or delicacies made of the main ingredient, Rice.

There is one way of cooking rice that I learned and I love to share with my family and friends
and everybody appreciated it. The Delicious Garlic Rice. I usually eat this with steaming hot coffee or hot chocolate. My brothers and sisters love this with salted fish and sliced tomatoes, while my husband and daughter enjoy eating this with an omellete.

Here is the simple recipe and yet so delicious to me.

For two persons. You may multiply the amount if you serve more than 2 persons.

What you need :

2 cups or four cups of left over rice...It also depends upon the appetite of the person
If no left over rice, used the newly boiled rice.
Five cloves of garlic finely chopped
A teaspoon full of cooking oil.
A dash of salt
A big pan.

Sautee the garlic until lightly brown. Drop the rice and mix well. The most is five to seven minutes.
PRESTO !
It smells and tastes so good !
You serve this using cups to have a perfect rice mold in a plate.

Have a nice day everyone !

( Try this and think of me in your first bite.)
