Steak in a Sushi Bar
I stood tall at the top of my mountain. No one worked harder than me to scale the peak. None has reached as far! I wanted reality to be real, the success of my warring to last forever and ever again. Looked for steak in a sushi bar, the loving feeling to last forever and ever again. The peak turned out to be a melting ice cap, the sun stayed out too long. An earthquake joined the sun and now I stand knee-deep in a flood. Hope and fear surround me, trapping me here. I look up and see a new peak. I could climb again, or swim in the mud. But the lesson of my fall reminds me that when facing a choice of either or, I can choose to laugh, and that opens the door!
