The Leprechaun’s Pot
A prose poem on the mythical pot of gold.

This item requires reviews with ratings.
For a leprechaun, his pot of gold lies auspiciously
At the end of a well-lit, colorful rainbow.
This cherished goodie is clearly valued and boasts enormous wealth,
But the gentleman’s thoughts transcend its lavish aura;
The little man, becoming jovial and grateful,
Shall partake in some generous and most ubiquitous libations…

To spare himself such celebration would prove costly
For this little creature of such carefree, deliberate will;
As a result, the pot must remain hidden from sight,
For fear of its untimely and regrettable disappearance.

Thus, it is shown time and again that
The rainbow’s end, so unknown to us all,
Possesses the same mischievous quality and charm
As the mysterious leprechaun…
