![]() We're Diff'rent Now I feel a bead of sweat drip down my neck, The room so warm the fan just can’t keep up. We had a night of sex and triple sec But things like this don’t come from Dixie Cups. My fingers trace a curved line down your chest, The quiet peace I feel right now is new. I’ve never known a heart could beat this fast While all the colors seen are so subdued. We’re diff’rent now, I feel, but can’t see why And not until you spoke I understood: I’d never have to say a long goodbye, To be with me, I knew you always would.
