Devoted To You I was once asked if I am devoted to you; why? Why would they ask that? Without you in my life, I’d cry. Cry like a lonely lost soul who’s heard a last good-bye. Good-bye? Hardly, I’d never leave the apple of my eye. Eye swollen with tears that fell like rain from the sky, Sky clears, clouds disappear, my spirit soars high. High as a kite, for with love, I can’t deny. Deny you my love? How could I? On you, I rely. Rely on our love, for this question could imply. Imply that our love has waned as time flew by.
