The Ripper Enter Jack The gentleman in black London’s childe* roams wild in the street Stalking the lacey dressed girl so proper and neat In the darkness, the fate of their souls is to meet What monster elicits a whimper Barred teeth sink to nip her – The Ripper --- Written for "Pond Poetry" *Childe was used to portray a more evil, supernatural aspect to the character.
