Amazing

When our sun turns the sky
to a kaleidoscope view
and speckled all over
is the spirit of you,
I will cease to be amazed.

When all vanishing points vanish,
a view from the barrel of a cannon
and we’re shot into the universe
aware only of each other,
I will cease to be amazed.

When lemon umbrellas fall
through gray thought and blue,
filling the sky
I will think of you,
and cease to be amazed.

When the world shapes
to an ornament fashion
emerald green and ruby covered,
paisley oceans for our love,
I will cease to be amazed.

When raindrops are tears
that no longer fill your eyes
then will be time for praise
and I will cease to be amazed . .
