How to Make WDC Item Links

Why would a member type {citem:xxxxxx} instead of {bitem:xxxxxx}. It might sound confusing, but it's really very simple.

Here at WDC, we have many, many different ways to create item links. Most of us learn with the simple bitem link:

{bitem:1774430} will show,

ID: 1774430   (Rated: E) Flower Power Auction  Ended ~ Packages Being Fulfilled ~ Great Auction ~ Thanks to all by Maryann

I like to use the citem (clean item) link...

{citem:1774430} will show,

1774430

Flower Power Auction  [E] Ended ~ Packages Being Fulfilled ~ Great Auction ~ Thanks to all by Maryann

As you can see, there's not really that much of a difference. So, use whichever format you happen to like the best. They are both correct links.

Some images (like this one) are set so that if you click on them, you will be taken to an item.
That's one more way to link to an item
