Located in the scorchingly dry Nevada desert
Is the lush and richly inviting city of Las Vegas, That amazing paradise of non-stop glitz, top-notch stars, And excellent performances; The most mesmerizing and beautifully diverse city on Earth, With its lavish resorts, fine dining, and risqué nightlife All gathered on that glorious boulevard, the Las Vegas Strip, With even more hotspots situated Just a stone’s throw away on Fremont Street Amid the dry, sizzling heat. Avoiding the seedy debauchery Of the numerous strip clubs, adult shows, and legalized prostitution Has my host city and vacation spot looking rather grand, But I have concluded that the fun and excitement of craps, The heart and enjoyment of this fabulous town, Remains overshadowed by the dramatic and endless losing Being suffered at almost every table in the area… Making this exhilarating fun the Las Vegas spectacle, But the most exquisite casino entertainment That has ever failed to completely draw me in With its glamorous and mischievous aura.
