Where did you go?
When something that told me everything now tells me lies

Where did you go?
You used to tell me everything
Taught me to ask questions
Taught me to think
You was my big sister
Protecting me from bullies
You stood up for me
when my voice was weak
Where did you go?
What happened to you?
Now you ignore me
Now you yell and point fingers
You are lazy and easily pressured
You tell me what you think I want to hear
You tell lies so that I stand with you
Where did you go?

This is a poem reflecting my one year reading yahoo articles in which I have discovered that the media is no longer what it used to be. Some news media misinform, others focus on the unimportant, and some are pure lazy in their reporting. Its frustrating that there is a bias. What happened to just telling facts? Why is it now the media's job to take a story and fit it in their message. I want facts not opinions. And this is where the poem comes from
