Where did you go? You used to tell me everything Taught me to ask questions Taught me to think You was my big sister Protecting me from bullies You stood up for me when my voice was weak Where did you go? What happened to you? Now you ignore me Now you yell and point fingers You are lazy and easily pressured You tell me what you think I want to hear You tell lies so that I stand with you Where did you go? ....Free Press This is a poem reflecting my one year reading yahoo articles in which I have discovered that the media is no longer what it used to be. Some news media misinform, others focus on the unimportant, and some are pure lazy in their reporting. Its frustrating that there is a bias. What happened to just telling facts? Why is it now the media's job to take a story and fit it in their message. I want facts not opinions. And this is where the poem comes from
