“OIdies”
I’m driving down the highway with an oldies station on. I sing along with music from a time that seems long gone. For just a moment, I relive that time of simple pleasures when every moment sparkled; the world was filled with treasures. As the music fades, I return to present days, waiting patiently until the next warm mem’ry plays. Notes: An entry for "Invalid Item" Prompt: Open Form: Decastitch. The decastich is a 10 line poem with no set form. All that's required is ten lines. There is no meter specified. Thank you for taking time to read my words. I would appreciate it if you took a moment and left a comment. Your reaction, impressions, criticisms, - yes, even praise Ken
