Forevermore Upon eternal seas I sail, the Captain of my dreams. I'm guided by the moon and stars, the songs that sigh on swirling streams. My course set on Forevermore I haul against the wheel, the storms I fight, the spray I savor, I'm steered by restless rudder and keel. The sun warms this weathered face, washed cleaner by the rain. My company, the birds at sea that sing their solemn, sad refrain. A scent of lotus on the air foretells I'm coming near; no sight of land, but Paradise beyond the next frontier. My cruise will (someday) run its course; my ship will come to shore. I'll find you waiting there for me at home, Forevermore.
