Nature's Lessons
![]() There is a flow to nature that speaks of harmony and this is illustrated by the flower and the bee. Each one needs the other, together they both thrive. Lacking this relationship, neither will survive. The bee comes to the flower and with a gentle kiss withdraws the nectar held within and discovers bliss. He gathers up the pollen upon which he will nourish and spreads it far and wide so that the flowers flourish. There is a simple elegance to how nature has designed a symphony of life that together has combined the pragmatic and the beauty found in her creation. I watch and learn in wondrous awe and admiration. It seems to me there's a lesson that we need to learn. As we spread love's pollen, we receive, in turn, the nectar of compassion, a part of life's communion, and we can live in harmony taught by nature's union.
