                              Ghazal 264


Persian:  Paish e roo e to yaasmeen keh bawad
              Paish e laal e to angbeen keh bawad
Urdu:      Paish e roo e to yaasmeen hay kya
              Paish e laal e to angbeen hay kya

English:=== O she's like a flower, my baby bunny
                  And in her lips she has a lot of honey
                                      -

Persian:  Her kuja naam e turra e to barand
              Naafa e khaam e poasteen keh bawad
Urdu:      Paish e gaisoo e umbereen, aey jaan
              Naafa e khaam e poasteen hay kya

English:=== She has a scent in her curly hair
                  To which no musk can ever compare
                                      -

Persian:  Gul keh boo meeburad zay baad e saba
              Baa chunaan roo e naazneen keh bawad
Urdu:      Taazgi o tari o rang e gul
              Paish e rukhsaar e naazneen hay kya

English:=== And she has also a gorgeous face
                  That's young and fresh and full of grace
                                        -

Persian:  Chun babeenam keh pa nahi ba zameen
              Sar neham mun ba her zameen keh bawad
Urdu:      Maah, meh daekh ker mera, bola
              Assmaan bun gaie zameeen hay kya

English:=== A face that glows like the sun at noon
                  And is so much prettier than the harvest moon
                                          -

Persian:  KHUSRAVAT shud ghulaam o banda walaik
              Ba juz az band e een chuneen keh bawad
Urdu:      Bandagi o ghlaami e KHUSRO
              Juz kham e zulf e umbareen hay kya

                  And even our KHUSRO is her faithful slave
