About my first experience on the back of a motorcycle
IF… I had ridden….you…driving me….slowly
towards mangoes…sweetened with worm holes…
rows of sour citrus…pinched cheeks…lips clinging
to each other…cause you liked the way
I clung to you…wind ripping through my locks
fingers locked in your….fabric softened sweat shirt
and your plush lips parted...teeth
shimmering like a crescent moon

THEN….I think every time I heard the rapturous
roaring…of an engine…weaving
through tiny…puddle muddled cobble stone streets
I’d turn…and look…for…
you
