I’m never in the mood to indulge,
When I feel unhappy, that messy bulge. But then I analyze my complaint, Assume that it is, and realize it ain’t. When my life is less than ideal, I have dessert, without a peel. Scoops of ice cream, fudge and nuts, Cherries, whipped cream, no negative ‘buts’… Perhaps the number one power in life Is overcoming that inner strife, With substantial knowledge why we’re feeling Up and down, and not hitting the ceiling… So I’m going to just be happy, Without feeling remote or sappy, Allowing my mind to go blank each day Celebrating life in a positive way!
