The trial is over for Casey Anthony  today
In less than eleven hours their verdict was given
"NOT GUILTY" of murder in the first degree
Does that mean her actions were JUST  "forgiven"?

What justice responds with "partytime"
Within its calloused wall
How dare they celebrate their "victory"
How dare they "celebrate" at all?

But my tears are also shed for Casey
From this act she will never be set free
What saith the prosecutors now
As defense team raises their glass with glee?

Six weeks of displaying the evidence
Then both sides rested their case
Will Casey's proven lies just be "forgotten"
When she gets out of jail in the next few days?

NO! For God takes Caylee's little hand in His
As Her brown eyes sparkle for sure
Rest assured His own loving arms will protect her now
With a true love so bright and pure.

One day God's Judgment will make everything right
So it just does not make any sense to worry
Put all of your trust in Heaven's laws
Know that there WILL BE JUSTICE for Caylee Marie.
