A Determined Posse
Upon our trusty horses we rode. We were charging after those in flight. The posse would check every abode. In hot pursuit we used every bit of daylight. Up and down many a hill, Few were green; most were sun burned. The desperados we might have to kill. Their ruthless reputations had been earned. Toward that stone castle we galloped. Across the blue river we passed. Those bandits were ever so corrupt. In each battle our quarry we did outlast. After all we are Texas Rangers. Ever vigilant, we serve justice. We fear not the unforeseen dangers. Protection for all is left to us. lines = 16 Word count = 107
