Always Excuses Memories of our first kiss, dancing in the kitchen to Sade's, "Smooth Operator". Later, groping in the dark. A crystal candy dish shattered as we made love on the floor. Always, an enigma. A secret lover -- (you cried his name in a moment of ecstasy) staying late at work. You were going to leave him. (soon). Always excuses.
