For all time they've existed,
Rough at times, sure, Instant bonding persisted Even through the toughest times. Never before have they been so Demeaning to those who's sins rhyme Subtly with their name, call it friendcrime. Foul words and wretched acts Overshadow the ones who try Rigorously to be humanly in this sacred pact; Graven in stone for all the ages, It would seem all could see, but Virtue is cast into bushes of dead sage Even as mends appear within the Cage. All the world over, high and low, Love unites all who forgive, Whether they remain or go And no matter the event, Yearn for friendship Soon after they repent.
