Easy Instructions for Creating a B-item Link The reason this is so important is because it is the way we share our poems and stories with others at Writing.com. There are lots of ways to link your item, but the most commonly used is the b-item link. The b stands for "big". This link is the one that gives the most information about your item. Before beginning, you need to understand the difference in these three punctuation marks: { } braces ( ) parenthesis marks or (plural) parentheses [ ] brackets Here's how you create a b-item link: 1. Type a left brace like this { . 2. Type b-item like this: {b-item . 3. Type a colon like this: {b-item: . 4. Type the ID number of the item you want to link, like this: {b-item:1768111. 5. Add the right brace } Now your link looks like this: {b-item:1768111}. 6. The link you have created will look like this:
