Once in the dawn of the mornin,
when the sun was shinin into my room I felt its warmth beat down, warmin my soul. I love how it feels all so, so real, all so, so real. But I still wish she was here, cause ya know, if I ever met her, I'd never know love from fear. I walk around town like a man on a mission, walkin with my head held high and my back in its correct position; I'm actin as if everything's fine, as if I control what's mine, what's mine. Sometimes the air smells like she's near. And then I feel as if that moment is coming, where I don't know love from fear. Me and my friends contemplate what's right and wrong; we contemplate love and hate, fire and passion. But while they duel in love, I just hope it won't be long. I will never lose hope finding my soulmate for I know she was created, she was created. There was a girl I'd known back when light shined clear; and I'd do anything to have back so that I might forget love from fear. Our romance was swift and it was brief; full of passion and love, well, thus I thought. Alas, it was to short to even grieve about. And so I lagged onward to progress; she ran upward to success, upward to success. Ya know, it aint like I aint sincere; for I do doubt my friends as they love, I don't think they have trouble with love and fear. My heart is a little fugue, full of sweet melodies that wish in joyful hope that oneday she'll come. When come she does, there'll be no more tragedies, only happiness and madness, and stars as well. Soon I'll find her as beautiful and swell, beautiful and swell. Then, aside that cliff of life so sheer, we will come to know all our future troubles, and then, perhaps, I won't know love from fear.
