REMEMBER ME
As this body crumbles, life slowly ebbs away, Remember me for more than just my name. Merely a title assigned to me at birth, But, a misnomer of my worth. Remember me for my joy, Lifting others from the mire, The song in my heart, A willingness to do my part. Remember me for who I was, Not by titles or tags, Not through a misty haze, But for my kind and loving ways. Recall times we laughed, cried together, Happness and joy we shared. Don't look for me in earthly abodes. I'll be strolling heavenly roads Carol A. LaCroix
