Is that all there is, is that all there is If that's all there is my friends, then let's keep dancing Let's break out the booze and have a ball If that's all there is by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller will always be the longing no matter how much the love forever searching, seeking questioning God above alone I feel at peace hear the birds watch them fly while I remain upon the ground -- no answer to the why this the way it's always been will be forevermore a lonely soul beside the highway always wanting more I know that it's the giving that fills a heart with love. but, sitting in the dark the cold, the stillness, somethings missing (a hand to hold) Is this all there is, all thats meant to be? what hope for tomorrow? today, another just the same. yesterday (no taking back) clouds drift in from gray to black
