One day while riding out in the desert, the Prince with His parrot and His most trusted guard were separated by a sudden burst of wind that quickly escalated into a fierce sandstorm.
Carrying a bag belonging to the Prince, the parrot searched the desert for weeks.
Walking under the hot sun the parrot played its favorite party song to keep in focus.
One day the parrot saw a band of maraduers in the distance and quickly dismissed it as a mirage.
The parrot continued its walk and as it approaced the mirage it instantly knew they were real and hoped they were friendly maraduers.
The leader of the band was quick to welcome the parrot to his kingdom.
"What kingdom?" the parrot asked.
"The kingdom being built before your eyes as we speak" replied the king.
The king had one of his hencmen escort the parrot to a private place for it to rest.
The king spoke words of wisdom and truth to the parrot and then asked the parrot what it was holding in the bag.
The parrot thanked the king for his hospitality, but let the king know that he would only speak to the Prince.
The king made no attemp to separate the parrot from the bag knowing that its bite was strong, he decided to sooth it with words and wait it out.
When it was alone the parrot opened the bag dropping its contents on the floor.
Its eyes sparkled at the sight of precious jewels and wondered what to do with them.
By chance one day the Princes most trusted guard was riding by and was welcomed by the king.
"Welcome to my kingdom" the king said to the most trusted guard.
Looking at the half completed tents the most trusted guard replied  "What kingdom?"
"The one being erected as we speak" the king returned.
"I am looking for a parrot that may have come this way" the most trusted guard inquired.
"Oh yes, the parrot, it will not speak to anyone but the Prince" the king offered with a wicked smile
"Well, perhaps the parrot will speak to me" the most trusted guard stated.
The king lead the way to the parrot, and while the parrot was happy to see the most trusted guard it still refused to speak to anyone but the Prince.
The most trusted guard took his leave only to return the next day with the Prince.
They were greeted on their approach by the king, "Welcome to my kingdom my Prince".
"What kingdom, I only see large tents out in this desert" the Prince replied.
"Prince, you will respect my kingdom or you will not enter" shouted the king.
"You do not believe I come alone" the prince said as he drew the kings vision out to the distance.
There, the silhouettes of many warriors could be seen.
The wise king stepped aside allowing the Prince to pass.
Walking through the Prince heard the the parrots favorite party music and grinned.
The Prince whispered to His most trusted guard that indeed the parrot was there for that was his favorite party song playing.
The parrot was overjoyed upon seeing the Prince walk into the tent.
"I've come to take yoy home my friend".
"I knew you would come my Prince...I never lost faith"
The parrot then whispered to the Prince about the jewels that were in the bag.
The Prince held the empty bag and looked at the parrot.
"Oh, I had to swallow the jewels so the marauders would not see them" said the parrot turnibg color.
The Prince burst into laughter upon hearing this and told the parrot it would not be easy now to get them out.
"It is time for us to leave here" the Prince said
"But what about the king" the parrot said
"Worry not about the king, for he will find many fools to fill his kingdom and line his treasure chest".
The Prince lead the way as they walked out into the desert.
The king watched as they disappeared into the blowing sand, then turned his attention to an approaching party of two.
"Welcome to my kingdom" he said with a wicked smile.
