Two Lovers

Two lovers, so I hear
Fought ‘til death, their love so dear
The rise of voices, curses fierce, these
Two lovers, so I hear
Twas hazardous to venture near
For plates were hurled at dinnertime
Two lovers, so I hear
Fought ‘til death, their love so dear.

TRIOLET (brief description)

An example of a Triolet
ABcAcdAB Rhyme scheme (Capitals denote very same lines -all A's are same line, all B's same line)
Odd numbered syllables unstressed and even number syllables stressed (not always but typical)
1st, 4th, 7th lines the same
2nd, 8th lines the same
3rd, 5th and 6th are all different lines.
3rd and 5th lines rhyme but are not repeated
6th doesn't have to rhyme but is not repeated
Spirit of Triolet is not usually serious, can be satirical.
