The Concrete Tomb

Between the banks of Mississippi river.
Lays a man made hard concrete tomb.
If it was broken open they would find.
All my body parts concealed inside.


I was murdered by some gang lords
They cut my body into little pieces.
My remains are hidden in concrete.
That they threw into the Mississippi.


They think I'll never be found in here.
If I stay on the bottom they're right.
Some day it will drift in shallow water.
There it will be visible to rescue me.


Concrete tomb would look out of place.
Maybe the authorities will examine it.
Until then I'll keep rolling with the flow.
Down the Mississippi as I rock and roll.
