First Day of School

Do you remember your first day of school?
When anticipation and excitement built
The shopping trips searching for everything cool
Walking up the front steps dressed to the hilt
Nervously waiting in the vestibule
The bell rings, kids start running at full tilt
Excited to be back, raring to go
And leaving for the day, praying for snow?
