To love him completely, is the hardest decision to make. To reveal myself to him, will the knife be the one who greets me? Yes, Traveler! Forget not when agony was your companion. Diana1 is who you desired to be, but the victim is what you became. Unworthy was the other's love, his diseased heart printed on his shirt. This one has no speck of dirt, he devalues himself, not you! Blind were you before, the wedding veil clouding your eyes. When the veil lifts, will the Devil be the one to kiss you? Those lips will be peace, his tongue, understanding. His purpose is not evil, his desire is to love you. Despair will come, if you embrace him. To your breast will lie his poisonous bite, infecting you with suffering once again. Do not fear Pain, it has taught you well. The lessons learned, shows you to love him more. I have heard you both, fear is one, love is the other. This love is unlike the other, this time, he loves me too. Estrangement - Stanzas Written for: PDG Poetry Workshop Footnotes
